About USA Roof Repair

We built USA Roof Repair because finding a trustworthy roofing contractor is genuinely hard — and the stakes of getting it wrong are high. Our mission is simple: connect homeowners with qualified local contractors who do the work right.

What We Do

USA Roof Repair is a contractor matching service. When a homeowner submits a request on our platform, we connect them with licensed, insured roofing contractors in their area who specialize in the type of work they need — repair, replacement, storm damage, emergency response, or commercial roofing.

We don't do the roofing work ourselves. What we do is the vetting, matching, and quality assurance that makes contractor selection significantly less stressful and risky for homeowners.

We also publish in-depth educational content — guides, FAQ pages, and comparison articles — so homeowners can make informed decisions about their roofs regardless of whether they use our service.

How We Vet Contractors

Any contractor in our network has passed a multi-point verification process before we match them with homeowners. Here's specifically what we check:

State Contractor's License

We verify each contractor's license status through their state licensing board — not just their word. We check that the license is active, covers the scope of roofing work they perform, and has no disciplinary actions or violations on record.

General Liability Insurance

We require current certificates of general liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence. If a contractor damages your property during a project, their insurance covers it.

Workers' Compensation Insurance

This protects you. Without workers' comp, an injured worker on your property can pursue your homeowner's insurance. Every contractor in our network carries current workers' compensation coverage for all employees.

Business History and Stability

We look for contractors with an established local presence — physical address, verifiable history, and tenure in their market. Storm-chasers and fly-by-night operations don't pass this check.

Customer Review Analysis

We review public feedback across multiple platforms. We're not looking for 5.0 stars — we're looking for patterns in how contractors handle problems, communicate, and stand behind their work.

Ongoing Monitoring

Admission to our network isn't permanent. We monitor license status, insurance currency, and customer feedback. Contractors who fall below our standards are removed.

Our Editorial Standards

The guides, articles, and FAQ pages on this site are written to one standard: useful to a homeowner making a real decision, not useful to a search engine or advertiser.

Our content is written and reviewed by people with direct roofing industry experience. We don't publish paid placements disguised as editorial content. When we recommend a product, material, or approach, it's because we believe it's the right choice for the described situation — not because of a commercial relationship.

We update our content regularly as industry practices, product specifications, and building codes change. Every article includes a publication and update date.

What We Believe About Roofing

Honest information prevents bad decisions

Most roofing mistakes happen because homeowners don't have enough information to evaluate contractors, question estimates, or recognize red flags. We write content that closes that gap.

Local expertise matters more than national brand

A contractor who has installed 500 roofs in your ZIP code knows your climate, your housing stock, and your building codes. That knowledge affects real-world outcomes.

Cheap is not the same as affordable

A low bid that uses inferior materials or skips flashing costs more over 10 years than a higher bid done right. We help homeowners understand the difference.

The process should be transparent

Homeowners deserve to understand what they're buying, why it costs what it does, and what happens if something goes wrong. We make that information available before anyone asks for it.

Coverage

Our contractor network covers all 50 major US metros and thousands of surrounding communities. We maintain active contractor relationships across six service types:

Roof RepairRoof InstallationEmergency Roof RepairStorm DamageCommercial Roof RepairCommercial Roof Restoration

If your area isn't covered, submit a request and we'll do our best to find a qualified contractor for your location.

For Roofing Contractors

If you're a licensed, insured roofing contractor who meets our standards and wants to receive qualified leads in your service area, we'd like to hear from you. We work with contractors who prioritize quality workmanship, transparent communication, and standing behind their work.
