What We Do
USA Roof Repair is a contractor matching service. When a homeowner submits a request on our platform, we match them with a license-verified roofing contractor in their area, where one is available, for the type of work they need — repair, replacement, storm damage, emergency response, or commercial roofing.
We don't do the roofing work ourselves. What we do is check contractors' licenses and insurance, match requests to them, and publish guides that help homeowners evaluate any contractor.
We also publish in-depth educational content — guides, FAQ pages, and comparison articles — so homeowners can make informed decisions about their roofs regardless of whether they use our service.
How We Verify Contractors
We're currently building our contractor network. Every contractor must pass these checks before we'll send them a homeowner's request. Here's specifically what we check, and what we don't:
Contractor License
We look up each contractor's license number on the issuing board's public records (state, or city/county where the state doesn't license roofers) and confirm it is active and matches the business name. Contractors in areas with no licensing requirement must show their local registration or business license instead.
General Liability Insurance
Every contractor uploads a current certificate of general liability insurance. We review the insured name, coverage and expiration date. If a contractor damages your property, that policy is what covers it.
Automatic Expiry
We record each policy's expiration date. When it lapses, the contractor automatically stops receiving requests until they upload a current certificate.
One Contractor per Request
Your details go to a single verified contractor, not a list of companies. If no verified contractor serves your area, we tell you instead of passing your request to someone unverified.
What We Don't Check
Verification confirms licensing and insurance. It is not a review of workmanship or a guarantee of any job. Always get a written estimate, ask for references, and confirm workers' compensation coverage if the contractor has employees.

Our content is written by the USA Roof Repair team. We are not roofing contractors, and our guides are not written or reviewed by a licensed roofer, so treat them as general background and rely on an in-person inspection for decisions about your roof. We don't publish paid placements disguised as editorial content. When we recommend a product, material, or approach, it's because we believe it's the right choice for the described situation — not because of a commercial relationship.
We update guides when codes, products or advice change, and each guide shows the date it was last updated.
